Affiliate Marketing With WordPress
I use wordpress as my CMS system for creating content to market affiliate products. The nice thing about wordpress is it is FREE. You also have many plugins available to help customize your wordpress site which are FREE. In fact almost every one of my personal websites uses WordPress.
The only cost necessary is hosting and domains. So for less than the price of a night at the movies you can create income marketing affiliate marketing and have fun along the way. There is a learning curve with WordPress , but after you get going it’s a breeze.
Make sure that you go to WordPress.org to download your files and not WordPress.com. WordPress.com is not hosted by you, therefore you have a lot less control over what you do with the program. With WordPress.org, you have complete control over your content.
One of the best features of WordPress is the fact that it is open source and driven by people who actually use it on a daily basis. That is what makes me feel comfortable using it in my own business, because I know that it will be around for a long time.
As your blog gets bigger and bigger, you may have to move to a dedicated server which will cost a little bit more per month. Still a pretty small price to pay for so much potential.
WordPress.org keeps you from having to worry about what is allowed and what’s not allowed. Because it’s on your own server, you have unlimited potential and reign over what you put on your webpages. WordPress.com does not allow many things that you want to do.
This does not take away from sites like Hubpages. It accentuates their use and one compliments the other. This is just one of the ways that you can take your business online, and actually have a real web presence.
